When should you start pregnancy support?

It's best to do this between the 10th and 12th weeks of pregnancy, calculating from the first day of the last menstrual cycle. The first visit to the obstetric-gynecologist includes:

• Medical history collection;
• General and obstetric examination;
• Filling out medical documentation;
• Providing the pregnant woman with an exchange card from the start of monitoring, where the doctor will record information about the pregnant woman and her baby each visit;
• The specialist explaining to the future mother about the physical and psychological changes she will experience shortly, alarming symptoms, and the tests she should undergo.

• 3 visits to the gynecologist;
• Ultrasound at 12-14 and 18-20 weeks of pregnancy;
• Therapist consultation;
• Laboratory tests (biochemical, genetic screenings).

• Ultrasound at 28 weeks of pregnancy - detailed diagnosis of the fetus's anatomical structure;
• Consultations with an endocrinologist and a cardiologist;
• Echocardiogram, ECG;
• Thyroid and breast ultrasound;
• Laboratory tests.

• 4 visits to the gynecologist;
• Ultrasound at 33-35 weeks of pregnancy with Doppler, which allows checking the blood flow from the uterus to the fetus through the placenta;
• Urologist consultation;
• Kidney and bladder ultrasound;
• Laboratory tests.

In the third trimester, the baby becomes quite active, so it's important to monitor these moments interspersed with periods of rest. This trimester is the final stretch on the way to the maternity hospital.

At the last consultation visit, the gynecologist will carefully check the exchange card for all necessary entries, explain to the pregnant woman about the symptoms of labor and preparation for going to the maternity hospital.
