Ultrasound of mammary glands
Ultrasound examination (ultrasound) of the mammary glands in Lviv at the NOVO Medical Center is used as a screening examination to assess the structure in order to detect benign and malignant neoplasms, the inflammatory process, fibrocystic mastopathy and assess the condition of the lymph nodes under the armpits.
Ultrasound of the mammary glands is performed in the presence of complaints of breast lumps, pain and roughness 2 weeks before menstruation, discharge from the nipple not related to lactation, deformation of the nipple (retraction, swelling, compaction), signs of inflammation (painful lump , redness of the skin over the focus, increased temperature).
