At the end of February, a radiologist at the NOVO Medical Center, Veronika Yevtukh, took part in the meeting of the European Congress of Magnetic Resonance in Neuropediatrics (ECMRN), which was held this year in Marseille (France).
The purpose of the Congress is to develop new trends and trends in pediatric neuroradiology and their clinical application.
This forum of leading radiologists was distinguished by an in-depth analysis and numerous discussions on issues related to brain diseases in children:
- assessment of brain maturity using MRI;
- a combination of congenital heart defects and impaired brain development;
- MRI monitoring of therapy and detection of leukodystrophies;
- analysis of clinical pathomechanisms in ischemic strokes;
- genetic and imaging diagnostic possibilities of studying vascular diseases;
Congress participants revised the updated classification (2020) of brain tumors.
