On October 16, 2017, doctors and, at the same time, philanthropists from the United States of America visited the NOVO Medical Center.
Ukrainians from the USA continue to support the development of medicine in Ukraine and carry out a number of charitable projects initiated by the Ukrainian diaspora.
The guests of children's hospitals in our country during this visit were rehabilitation doctors Yarko Martyniuk (representative of the California Association to Aid Ukraine) and David Hernanoez. The overseas guests were accompanied by the secretary of the Public Council under the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, a representative of the public Iryna Savchenko of the "E+ Initiative" organization brought benefactors with them for Ukrainian hospitals and people with disabilities This is a joint project of the NGO "E+ Initiative" and Global Mobility.
We remind you that the NOVO Medical Center fruitfully cooperates with benefactors in the medical field from overseas. In particular, Bohdan Zinovy Malanyak (1930-2013) was an important partner of the founders of the Center - the International Charitable Foundation "Ukraine 3000" and the "Children's Hospital of the Future" (1930-2013) - an outstanding figure in the field of medicine, a philanthropist who was born in Lviv region, lived and worked in America and for almost half a century carried out an educational and humanitarian mission to Ukraine, who for many years was the president and member of the advisory board Council of the Association to Aid Ukraine in California (California Association to Aid Ukraine). One of the rooms of the NOVO Medical Center bears his name.
The President of the Association of Philanthropists of Ukraine, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of NOVO Oleksandr Maksymchuk, Director of the NOVO Medical Center Nataliya Klymovych, Chief Physician Angela Dyba and Member of the Supervisory Board of our Center Andriy Ionov took part in the meeting with professional guests to develop plans for further cooperation.
