Chairman of the Advisory Council of the Congress of Ukrainians of Canada, entrepreneur and philanthropist Kostyantyn (James) Ilkovich Temertey visited the NOVO medical center on the eve of the opening. Familiarization with the center took place with the participation of the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Charitable Foundation "Center of Medical Innovations", the Chairman of the Association of Philanthropists of Ukraine Oleksandr Maksymchuk, the Member of this Supervisory Board Andriy Ionov, the chief doctor of the Lviv Municipal Children's Clinical Hospital Dmytro Kvit, the director of the NOVO Medical Center Natalia Klymovych.
Mr. Temertei was accompanied by Father Ihor Kutash - rector of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Holy Mother of God in Montreal and Stepan Stasyuk, assistant to the head of the Lviv Society in Kyiv.
The guests were presented with the equipment installed in the diagnostic center and told about the algorithm of its operation. Mr. Temertey highly appreciated the level of readiness and technological equipment. He wished success to the staff and expressed confidence in the unconditional improvement of medical diagnostic services, which Lviv residents will soon be able to receive.
At one time, in 2007, Konstantin (James) Ilkovich Temertey donated 1 million US dollars to the "Children's Hospital of the Future" Foundation. Today, he was able to see for himself the effectiveness of using his charitable contribution.
