The NGO "Association of Children's Endocrinologists of Ukraine" together with the NOVO Medical Center held a scientific and practical seminar "Modern approaches to diagnosis, prevention and treatment of endocrine diseases" on May 13.
The main speaker was Nataliya Zelinska - Doctor of Medical Sciences, Head of the Pediatric Endocrinology Department of the Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Center for Endocrine Surgery, Transplantation of Endocrine Organs and Tissues of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Head of the Association of Children's Endocrinologists of Ukraine, who gave reports on two issues: "Syndrome polycystic ovaries in adults and children" and "Modern criteria for hormonal diagnosis of thyroid dysfunction in children."
The topic of the speech of Iryna Shevchenko, a senior researcher at the pediatric endocrinology department of the Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Center for Endocrine Surgery, Transplantation of Endocrine Organs and Tissues of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, is "Pathology of the thyroid gland in girls with Sherishevsky-Turner syndrome."
"Thyroid gland and pregnancy" - the candidate of medical sciences, associate professor of the department of endocrinology of the Lviv National University named after D. Halytsky Roman Makar.
The head of the radiology department of our Center, the assistant of the Department of Radiodiagnostics of the FPDO of the Lviv National University named after D. Halytsky Veronika Yevtukh.
More than 80 specialists in the field of endocrinology and related areas of medicine from all over Ukraine took part in the seminar.
