NOVO CHARITY
In wartime conditions, the NOVO Medical Center as a member of the All-Ukrainian charitable organization “Association of Philanthropists of Ukraine” was granted the authority to provide medical diagnostic and advisory assistance to internally displaced persons from combat areas and other cities of Ukraine free of charge and on a preferential basis. The program, which is implemented jointly with a financial partner - the international organization HelpUkraine22, was named #NOVOhelp.
Brian Mefford, the head of the Help Ukraine 22, project created in the USA and administered by the Committee for Open Democracy (COD) as a humanitarian project, became the winner of the National Competition , став "Charity Ukraine-2022" – "Charity in defense of Ukraine" – in the nomination «Benefactor of the Year». During his visit to Ukraine in June 2023, B. Mefford received the honorary award - the Good Angel - at the NOVO Medical Center.
Assistance to internally displaced persons
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the occupying country on our land, all the forces of Ukrainian medicine have been consolidated in helping, first of all, the Defenders of Ukraine. That is why the NOVO Medical Center launched the Program of free and discounted diagnostic and advisory examinations for combatants, war veterans and persons with disabilities as a result of the war.
Within the framework of the implementation of the #NOVOhelp Program, seeking to join forces to coordinate actions in increasing the effectiveness of providing medical aid to victims of the Anti-Terrorist Operation, Operation of the United Forces and participants of hostilities with the troops of the aggressor - the russian federation, the Institution of the Charitable Foundation "Center for Medical Innovations" concluded Memorandums of Cooperation with the Military Medical Clinical Center of the Western Region, State Medical Association "Territorial Medical Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine for the Lviv Region", Lviv Military Medical Clinical Center of the State Border Service of Ukraine.
For almost 10 years, active cooperation has been established between the NOVO Medical Center and the Communal Enterprise of the Lviv Regional Council "Warrior's House". Since 2014, the program "Providing free diagnostic assistance to minor children of the dead participants of the mass public protest actions that began in Ukraine on November 21, 2013, and the dead participants of the OOS" continues to operate. And according to the expanded Memorandum of Cooperation, we provide all types of medical services free of charge for personnel who are missing under special circumstances.
n 2023, a Memorandum of Mutual Assistance was signed between the NOVO Medical Center and the First Women's Veteran Space "Rehab" within the framework of cooperation with the Communal Enterprise of the Lviv Regional Council "Warrior's House". It talks about mutual assistance in promoting the implementation of national and local programs for female veterans and their family members.
According to the Memorandum on interaction and cooperation, servicemen from the NextStep Ukraine Rehabilitation Center of the Revived Soldiers Ukraine Charitable Fund can receive all types of diagnostic services, as well as professional advisory assistance, at the NOVO Medical Center free of charge. The main tenets of the Memorandum of Partnership and Cooperation with the Medical Clinic of the Ukrainian Catholic University are to define the core values, goals and areas of cooperation between medical institutions in implementing medical programmes important to Ukrainians and in creating joint projects and initiatives for healthcare services.
NOVO INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION
From July 2023 until the end of February 2024, the NOVO Medical Center implemented the program "Providing high-tech innovative medical services to socially vulnerable categories of society in the Lviv region", which was named NOVO_helpforpeople. This was made possible thanks to a grant received within the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Commonwealth of Nations and Development of Great Britain.
Participants in hostilities, war veterans, family members of soldiers who went missing, internally displaced persons, etc. received high-quality MRI, CT, US-diagnostics and endoscopic examinations of the European standard, carried out on high-tech diagnostic equipment with maximum safety and convenience for the patient. Donor representatives and experts were able to see this during a monitoring mission visit to the NOVO Medical Center in November 2023.
As part of the project, 3 round tables and 5 focus groups were held with medical experts, veterans, military personnel, representatives of the public sector in Lviv, Kharkiv and Kyiv. The events aimed to identify a number of difficulties and problems faced by the military, veterans, as well as representatives of the medical field, and to develop joint solutions for rapid response to today's challenges.
NOVO FOR CHILDREN
Since its opening in 2014, we have been successfully implementing the charity program "Innovative diagnostics at the NOVO Medical Center", thanks to which we have carried out thousands of examinations of small patients on referrals from partner hospitals of the Saint Nicholas Hospital of the 1st Territorial Medical Association of Lviv, KNP "Center of Children's Medicine", children - forcibly displaced persons under the age of 18 and thanks to the cooperation with the Communal Enterprise of the Lviv Regional Council "Warrior's House". The NOVO Medical Center works in the market of medical services according to the principle of social entrepreneurship, and before the start of the full-scale invasion of the aggressor country on our land, its activities were primarily aimed at helping children. That is why, by performing an examination at our Center, you are contributing to the development of a healthy future society.

The latest generation Optima MR450w 1.5T magnetic resonance imaging scanner manufactured by General Electric Healthcare provides the highest quality images with a shorter examination time. And thanks to the unique design of the device, both small patients and persons suffering from claustrophobia can undergo MRI diagnostics.
The Toshiba Aquilion Prime 160 computerized tomograph collects data up to 164 sections with a thickness of 0.5 mm during a complete revolution of the device up to 0.4 seconds. Thanks to this, the risk of radiation exposure to the patient's body is reduced as much as possible and high-precision image quality is maintained. This type of diagnosis allows simultaneous screening of the entire human body on the latest safe equipment.

Since its opening on November 11, 2014, the NOVO Medical Center has reached considerable heights and gained noticeable authority in the medical circles of Ukraine and the world. Numerous medical seminars, international meetings and training of specialists take place at our center. In 2018, the Center became the main partner and co-organizer of the XII International Seminar of Radiologists.
The highly specialized team of the NOVO Medical Center, which creates comfort for every patient through many years of inspired work, is an example of trust and reliability. Thanks to their constant participation in all-Ukrainian and international conferences, our leading specialists learn from the experience of their colleagues, share their own achievements in the field of medicine and compete with world-class specialists. The team of like-minded doctors and friends is headed by Anzhela Dyba.
Our administrators, attending various trainings, constantly improve the service aspects of communication with patients, because we understand that experience, knowledge and professionalism are the key to a high level of service, and therefore to the level of satisfaction with the range of services provided.
During the existence of NOVO, thousands of important orders and contracts were signed within its walls, hundreds of interviews were held, many significant decisions were made, and many important steps were taken to implement our main mission - preserving the health and lives of patients. All this is a great merit of the former director Nataliya Klymovych, who held this position until November 2021.
In the future, we will continue to implement our NOVO mission under the slogan "LOVE TO LIVE!" was entrusted to the director Taras Lysak, who, since his leadership of the Center, has successfully implemented the fundamental priorities of work in an extremely difficult period for Ukrainian society. Charitable projects aimed at helping children with special needs, patients who were forced to leave their place of permanent residence in Ukraine, disabled people, military personnel, war veterans, and family members of soldiers who went missing due to personal circumstances have already been successfully implemented.
The Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the NOVO Medical Center is Oleksandr Maksymchuk - President of the All-Ukrainian charity organization "Association of Philanthropists of Ukraine", Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the National Competition "Charity Ukraine", public and political figure.
